Project Narrative:
The design for Red-E-Surf was to merge the type of store it is with the design, creating a unique retail surf and apparel store.  With it being a surf and apparel store, surfing, water, and the beach were the main ideas incorporated to design this store.  When thinking about surfing, one of the main concerns is the waves.  To include this idea a giant wave was designed and custom build as part of the clothing display along the east wall of the store.  Another idea that was included was a tiki hut as the cashier’s station.
